Difference between self lubricating bearing and oil bearing

By using the porosity of the sintered body, 10% - 40% (volume fraction) of smooth oil can be impregnated into the sintered body, and it can be used under the condition of self supplying oil. During operation, the bearing temperature rises because the expansion coefficient of oil is larger than that of metal, so it automatically enters the sliding surface to smooth the bearing. Oil bearing can be used for a long time by adding oil once, which is often used in inconvenient oiling occasions.
2、 Solid inlaid self smooth bearing
The metal base inlaid solid self smooth bearing is a new type of smooth bearing which has both the characteristics of metal bearing and self smooth bearing. The metal matrix bears the load, and the solid smooth data with special formula plays a smooth role. It has the characteristics of high bearing capacity, impact resistance, high temperature resistance, self smooth ability and so on. It is especially suitable for heavy load, low speed, reciprocating or shaking occasions which are difficult to smooth and form oil film, and is not afraid of water erosion and other acid etching and scouring. Inlaid bearing not only saves oil and energy, but also has longer working life than ordinary sliding bearing. Now the products have been widely used in metallurgical continuous casting machine, rolling equipment, mining machinery, ships, steam turbines, water turbines, injection molding machines and equipment production lines.
3、 Difference between oil bearing and self smooth bearing
1. The results show that the oil bearing is formed by the combination of metal powder, with 10-40% knot and space; the self smooth bearing matrix is made by centrifugal casting; the density of the matrix is relatively high, the bonding strength is higher than that of the oil bearing, and the service life is longer than that of the oil bearing;
2. The smooth raw material of oil bearing is smooth oil, and the oil film has enough thickness to eliminate the direct contact between the two conflicting surfaces. 3. The smooth oil in the oil-bearing is volatile and easy to lose. The smooth oil film can not get the smooth effect when it is thrown away under high temperature and high pressure.
