How to correctly identify whether the sliding bearing is damaged
When we use the sliding bearing, we often find that the sliding bearing is different from the original. Let's see why now.
In order to improve the friction and wear of journal bearing, proper lubricating film should be used in the design of journal bearing.
1. Journal surface strain: there are iron cutting abrasive particles or black oxide particles in ferrography, and there is tempering color on the metal surface.
2. Bearing wear: due to the metal characteristics of sliding bearing shaft (high hardness, poor concession) and other reasons, it is easy to cause adhesive wear, abrasive wear, fatigue wear, fretting wear and other conditions.
3. Tile surface corrosion: spectrum analysis found that the concentration of non-ferrous metals was abnormal; many sub micron wear particles of non-ferrous metals appeared in the spectrum; the water content and acid value of lubricating oil exceeded the standard.
4. Fretting wear: spectrum analysis found that the iron concentration is abnormal, there are many iron components in ferrography, submicron wear particles, water content and acid value of lubricating oil are abnormal.
5. Bearing bush burning: there are many large size alloy abrasive particles and ferrous metal oxides in the ferrography of sliding bearing.
6. Tile spalling: there are many large-scale fatigue spalling alloy wear particles and layered wear particles in ferrography.
7. Bearing surface strain: cutting abrasive particles are found in ferrography, and the composition of sliding bearing abrasive particles is non-ferrous metal.
8. Journal surface corrosion: spectrum analysis found that the concentration of iron was abnormal, there were many submicron particles of iron in ferrography, and the water content or acid value of sliding bearing lubricating oil exceeded the standard.
